The Aged Care Pricing Commissioner

The functions of the Aged Care Pricing Commissioner include:

  • the approval of extra service fees;
  • the approval of proposed accommodation payments that are higher than the maximum amount determined by the Minister;
  • any other functions conferred on the Aged Care Pricing Commissioner by the Minister or under Commonwealth law.

Kim Cull commenced as the Aged Care Pricing Commissioner on 14 October 2013.

She has extensive experience in law and policy development, in management and corporate services, and in senior roles in government. Kim has previously held roles as President of the Law Society of NSW, as a member of the Senior Executive of a University, and as a Chief Executive Officer in the not-for-profit sector.
